DO ACCELERATORS ACCELERATE? A STUDY OF VENTURE ACCELERATORS AS A PATH TO SUCCESS.

The article presents research on the use of venture accelerators for the success of businesses. Noted is the significance of accelerating development as a goal of many ventures a new form of organization. The study presents evidence of accelerators accelerating the venture development although it is observed uneven in accelerators. It shows the independent effect of accelerators to the professional experience and previous formal education of entrepreneurs. Also suggested are the substantive benefits of accelerator participation of entrepreneurs.
