This article presents an overview of the new and improved functionalities of the Earth Environment Data Integration and Analysis System (DIAS) that receives, archives, and distributes Asian satellite image data. Topics include the need to overcome data acquisition failures and the challenges with downloading massive amounts of data and how these issues were resolved.
