This book argues that globalization is just a myth. A single world market with free trade does not exist. In reality a minimum of three centres exist: the US, Europe and Japan with organizations regarding one or the other as their home base and starting point. The vast majority of multinational enterprises (MNEs) manufacturing and service activity is organized regionally, not globally. The author looks in detail at the managerial implications of the end of globalization, including in-depth discussion of corporate strategies, organizational structures and analytical methods.
