This thesis proposes to assess the financial and macroeconomic impact of unconventional ECB policies in the EA and outside. We also attempt to quantify the impact of monetary policies on inequalities in access to credit. Focusing on the direct impact, the policymakers should opt for greater coordination between monetary and fiscal policies. Focusing on the indirect impact, the policymakers should implement macroprudential policies to protect their economies from the various spillover effects of massive and volatile capital flows.
