ESCP Europe

This study reviews the making of the European Union from 1945 to 2011. It analyses, from a political and economical point of view, the steps creating Europe : The EEC, the impact of the oil shocks in the 1970's, the consequences of the Maastricht treaty and the new unique currency, and the making of the constitution. It tackles as well the difficulties encountered with the enlargement of the Union to new countries.
