CCO theory - the communicative constitution of organizations - has traditionally focused on the analysis of internal discourse to understand how companies are formed. This thesis attempts to demonstrate how external discourse, in particular journalism, should be incorporated into CCO theory. The analysis centres on media discourse surrounding the workplace during the global pandemic.
