"In this thesis, I explore the dynamics of information asymmetry within the pharmaceutical industry, focusing specifically on the relationships between pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, and patients. Information asymmetry, or the imbalance of knowledge between parties in a transaction, is a well-recognized issue in healthcare, often impacting patient outcomes, treatment decisions, and industry accountability. Through a structured approach combining literature review, expert interviews, and field observations, I aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of how information asymmetry affects the healthcare ecosystem, identify its primary sources, and explore potential strategies for mitigation."
