Author's abstract : Going globally brings multinational companies both multicultural employees and the difficulties of dealing with cross -border cultural relationships. It means that the key of survival is to adapt, to be flexible and to achieve sustainable competitive advantages by possessing the most effective Human resources management practices. Many Multinaional hotel companies, such as Holiday Inn, intentionally maintain most of their global Human resources management policies, rules and regulations. However, Given the huge national cultural differences, Chinese employees cannot emotionally accept such kind rules or policies which are against their values, such as weak uncertainty avoidance, Guanxi and Mianzi. In order to work for the multinational hotel companies which provide more attracted compensation packages, Chinese employees only behaviorally comply with and sometimes even flexibly execute such kind policies, rules and regulations. In this case, it is meaningless and useless for those multinational hotel companies still intentionally to maintain most of its HRM policies, rules and regulations.
