1. London, Madrid, Berlin and Paris Libraries
Use the libraries portal
Log in to the portal and select Librairies Catalogues in the main search bar. Enter your key words or select the advanced search

What can I do if I cannot return the book on the due date?
Late returns will result in the suspension of your library account for a period equivalent to the period overdue.
Please email us with any concerns about the timely return of your loans.
We accept returns via postal mail.
What if I lose the book or it is impossible to return it?
- Please send us an email to let us know about your situation.
- You will asked to buy another copy of the book to be sent directly to the campus where the original book belongs.
- *If you can’t get the same edition, you may buy the most-up-to-date edition.
- If it is impossible for you to return the book to the campus where it belongs AND you still have the book with you, you may return it to the nearest campus. [NOTE: This option is exceptional]
Yes, it is possible to borrow a physical journal or newspaper for 1 day as far as it is not the most recent/last issue. Last issue is only for reference.
At Berlin and Madrid Libraries
No, but you may scan or make copies of the articles you want to keep or read later.
Note that most of the newspapers are also available online through our databases. Remember to check Europresse. You may also use the tool Publication Finder to look for journals and their availability.

At Paris Montparnasse Library: four study rooms and one cabin are accessible from 09.00 am to 07.00 pm

Yes, and you may also use any printers in the school (on the campus where you are studying) to print.
You can use the printers to print, scan and copy.
Note that at Berlin Library, there is a sustainable book scanner for free at your service. You can send the document to your email address or use a USB stick. Copy/printing machines can be found in the student work room/PC-Pool (B019 and B125)
- First check if there is paper in the drawer.
- Extremely large files may encounter difficulties. Please check you file size.
- Have you sent your work in a PDF format? If yes check if the A4 format was correctly selected.
- Ask the library staff for help.
- At Paris and Madrid Libraries, you need to get in the touch with the IT department.
- At London Library, students can get a refund via Papercut. Ask the library staff to show you how to do it.
- At Berlin library, printing is free (please respect our paperless policy)
Paris Campus : Wifi is accessible throughout the library.
Use the ESCP network at the Paris Campuses. Login with your student number and usual password.
If you' re using Mac laptop and you cannot connect to the wifi please contact the IT department for help.
We will make every effort to contact you if there is any identifying information. You can also check with the security team at the entrance of the school.

- a DIGITAL RESOURCES search ( 80% of ebooks)
- a PUBLICATION FINDER search (alternative to the DIGITAL RESOURCES search)

1. DIGITAL RESOURCES
> 80 % of the ebooks are accessible via the DIGITAL RESOURCES search.
> Enter search terms in the DIGITAL RESOURCES bar (Title, author, subject, ISBN).
> Narrow your search by selecting eBooks as type of document.
2. PUBLICATION FINDER
This tool used to find a journal or a newspaper is also efficient to access most of our ebooks. It is an alternative to the Digital Resources Search.
>Type in an author, title or ISBN, (for a subject search, use the Digital Resource Search).
>The Publication Finder will provide a link to the resource if it is held in our digital collections.
3. LIBRARIES CATALOGUE
Type in an author, title or ISBN of an ebook or keywords. Then, narrow your search by selecting eBooks (Type of document filter).
Libraries catalogue includes :
- Berlin, London, Madrid and Paris Libraries catalogues
- Specific series such as French law "Codes" by Dalloz / Memento by Francis Lefebvre.
- Proquest ebooks / Wiley Online Library / Vital Source/ VLeBOOKS.
- Some eBooks that are also accessible through the "DIGITAL RESSOURCES" search.

Ebooks are available through these online platforms .
Reminder : use the DIGITAL RESOURCES search scenario (or the alternative Publication Finder" ) or the libraries' catalogues to search across these multiple platforms
You can also search each database separately .
1. Opening an ebook from the Libraries Catalogues
> Click on Direct Link
2. Opening an ebook from digital collections
> Click Online access
3. Ebook functionality varies from publisher to publisher.
Most platforms offer the ability to read ebooks online . Ebooks or chapters can sometimes be downloaded.
We recommend you to read online to avoid compatibility issues regarding formats and apps to read the dowloaded materials.
Step 1. Click on the link in the Library Catalogue. You will be directed to the Vital Source page.
You do not need to register! Click on continue without an account.
Step 2. Accept the conditions
Step 3. You will arrive directly on the book and you can start reading right away.
Note : when you leave the page the book will be returned automatically.
You must create a personal account on Navis. Your account will enable you to take notes, print pages or copy paste.
Just follow the steps indicated on the website. Use your ESCP mail to register.
If you choose to download the e-book: check the format and check if you have the tools to open it.
*PLEASE NOTE: We recommend you to read online to avoid any trouble due to format or compatibility.
The timeout differs according to the platform:
> if you are not in an actively reading (taking notes or scrolling), for about 20 to 30 minutes, your e-book session will end; you will be disconnected.
If there are no other readers in the queue, you will be able to reconnect.
> Be careful, if you are disconnected due to inactivity, you will lose your spot.
It is not possible to print a whole ebook due to restrictions imposed by the publishers and by copyright.
