RENEWAL
To renew a loan if the item is not reserved, you may:
1. Ask library staff
2. Contact us by mail or by phone
3. Renew the period of loan by yourself in your library account
Take the following steps:
1. Login with your student-ID and your date of birth (DD.MM.YYYY - including the dots) as your password.
2. Click My Account
3. You can tick the box infront of the media you want to renew your loan.
4. Click renew record.
5. Enjoy reading for another 4 weeks!
PLACE A HOLD
1. Place a reservation in your library account
2. Ask library staff to reserve an item
3. Contact us by email or by phone.
Items cannot be requested for a specific date:
- You will be notified by email when your hold is available.
- If the item is not collected within a week, it will be returned to the shelf or passed to the next borrower on the reservation list.
OVERDUE & LOST ITEM POLICY
- Late returns will lead to the suspension of the user's borrowing privileges for a period proportional to the number of overdue days.
- Overdue loans should be returned within two weeks if not intranet accounts will be suspended.
Students who have outstanding loans at the end of an academic term will have their exam results withheld until library items have been returned.
- All lost Library items must be paid for in full by the borrower concerned.
If you think that you have lost an item of the Library collection please inform Library staff as early as possible.
Printing is free of charge. Please respect our paperless policy!
