This collective book presents a large overview of the research program on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiated in 2007 by the Department of Economics of the Ecole Polytechnique. It examines the problems of governance that contributed to create and reinforce existing financial disequilibria at the epicenter of this crisis, reviews the literature on the links between CSR and financial performance and the current practices of SRI investors in this respect.
