Author’s abstract : The aim of this research paper is to examine whether the concept of diversity should lay as one of the company’s core values. What would the advantage be if that was the Case ? Should we really have diversity as a core value because it is ethically correct or is it because this is what the law prevails or even because it is a business strategy which results to a competitive advantage ? What’s the role of top management in all this ? Who decides on diversity initiatives and who has the upper hand ?
