Traditional –based on cash flows and discounting with estimated risk- valuation methods fail estimating the value of an internet startup. The goal of the study is to try to grasp that value of internet startups that don’t have any historical data, only guarantee a huge uncertainty and high volatility. The comparison and analysis of several valuation methods with practical discussions with investors leads to that thesis.
