The EH.Net Encyclopedia of Economic and Business History is designed to provide students and laymen with high quality reference articles in the field. Articles for the Online Encyclopedia are written by experts, screened by a group of authorities, and carefully edited. A distinguished Advisory Board recommends entry topics, assists in the selection of authors, and defines the project’s scope. NB :The information contained within EH.Net’s Encyclopedia of Economic and Business History is for pedagogical and individual use only.

"It is designed to be a great tool to support active learning, a key element of economic pluralism, as well as being an engaging read for those with an interest in the economy. It does not require a technical knowledge of economics.
The latest issue is open access, but you need to subscribe to access articles from the past 19 issues".

Data.culture.gouv.fr is a directory plateform provided by the French Ministry of Culture.
It provides various data sets about museums, film and cinema, music, education and teaching, arts, and more.


The purpose of the Information System: French Employers and Patrons (SIPPAF) is to make freely available to the scientific community and the general public sources that were initially printed and often difficult to access. It is based on a systematic work of analysing publications that are often distributed confidentially (newsletters of associations of former students of grandes écoles, chambers of commerce, professional unions, etc.) and of identifying biographical documents (in particular obituaries) concerning French employers in the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. These documents are reproduced and made accessible online. Resources in French Language only.
